On August 1st I started a journey. A journey to become who I'm supposed to be. My utimate goal is to participate in The Spartan Death Race. Along the way I hope to become healthy, strong, and someone my boys can look up to.

Paleo
So we started a weight loss challenge at the gym a week or so ago. I am on the paleo diet, which consists of mainly meat and veggies. So far so good. I lost 8lbs the first week. The challenge is for 8 weeks. The first week was very hard to try to keep with the diet. Now it's not so bad. I've realized how bad I was eating and how it was making me feel. Even though I'm not eating nearly as much I seem to have more energy and just feel better in general. The bigger challenge for me now is to keep some type of variety in my diet. I don't mind eating broccoli and meat everyday. It was be nice to mix it up a bit. I dunno. We'll see how it goes.
