Today's WOD

Good workout tonight!
Warmup was jump rope for 1 minute.
Sit-ups for 30 seconds
Double jump rope for 1 minute
Push ups for 30 seconds
Double unders for 1 minute

Work out
MAX dead lift 5x5 75%
12 minute AMRAP
10 75lb sumo
10 25 inch box step up
20 bar hops

All equal exhausted

Tonight's WOD

5 minutes max row then max out on snatches. I put up 135 for my first time! Pretty happy about it, can only get better!

Handstand

By the way, I am able to do wall handstands. I have to "walk" up the wall with my feet backwards but I can do it. Can't really do a push-up in that position yet but I am working on it.

Today's WOD

Today was pretty brutal. Warmup was jump rope for 2 minutes. 6 superman/hollow core, then 30 sec handstand. The actual WOD was: 1985m row
Burpees/55 lb kettleball 27-11-8-5

It was tough but I had a lot of support which made the difference. Looking forward to tomorrow.

1st WOD

Wednesday was my first WOD. It was row machine for 5 for distance then max your squat clean the row again for 5 min. Since it was my first time I just worked on my skill on the squat row so my weight wasn't very impressive. My row was 2800 meters. Not too bad for my first time.

Begin again

Tomorrow is my first official WOD. I'm a little nervous and excited. A friend of mine actually started yesterday and really enjoyed it. She said It was harder that she thought but more fun. I am so excited. We'll see. Stay tuned.

Crossfit 2.0

So it's been more than a year since I have posted. A lot has happened since then. I'll get to that in a later post but for now some good news. I joined a crossfit gym a few months ago and have been doing boot camps! Starting tomorrow I will be attending my first official crossfit class! I am beyond excited as this is getting me closer to my goal. I haven't exactly progressed the way I was wanting to but fortunately I really haven't go e backwards too much. In the few months of boot camp I have lost about 18 lbs and put on some pretty good muscle. Pictures to follow. Thanks to those who have checked out my page.
